Hey guys!

Seems like it's been forever since I posted! It's been crazy this past week/weekend/few days for quite a lot of reasons.

I vanished to my second home - Leeds, this past weekend and used that opportunity to visit my darling cousin in York (literally next door to Leeds). I was also very happy to see my childhood friend who I had missed quite a lot. :)

Was out with my girl, Tayo on Sunday night & as usual, she was looking on point!

Remember the sparkly shoes I posted on here? Well, guess who got them the same day I did (pure coincidence!).

I'm loving the ripped jeans, the blazer and the over all casual look....and those shoes!

My favourite part of the look was Tayo's new fad, the bow in her hair.

I've got head game too, no?

Guess who sharply copy-cated (yeah, definitely writing my own dictionary soon) Tayo's game?

It was love at first sight!

Finally Me - Uduak rocks! :)

I was just doing my regular blog rounds and saw my name in a post title *shocked face*!

A short while ago I submitted an entry for an on-going tank top challenge by the ever charming Uduak of Finally me. She posted on my entry just yesterday and wrote all these lovely things about Miss Jack and msjacksays. I was actually squealing while I read the post a few minutes ago. It does feel wonderful to be appreciated/commended!

Be careful what you pursue.

I often hear people talk about their pursuit of happiness. They just want to be happy in the end. And I ask, what is happiness? Do you really want to go through life and die with a report card that simply says, ‘happy’? Happiness is just another emotion, a state of mind. Everything else I’d like to say has been summed up beautifully in one insightful quote.

“Happiness is a mood. It’s a condition, it’s not a destination. It’s like being tired or hungry — it’s not permanent, It comes and goes and that’s ok. And I think if people thought about it that way, they’d find happiness a lot more often.”

Think about it.

Love everything about this photo!

Toritshe is a 4th year BA Honour student in Economics and Political Science in Canada and by all means a stylista (I have a feeling I just made up that word, no?)!

The only thing I love more than her versatile sense of style and her vintage treasures is the way she works it all. Toritshe can make a garri bag look like a wardrobe staple and no one can convince me otherwise!

Point to note: The two most important things you can put on every morning are confidence and a smile. Every thing else will fall into place.
